Patchnotes - 29/09/2016

Hi there,

below the final patch notes for the patch.


Patch v5.6.15

  • The first batch of rewards has been added for Steam’s Early Access participants. All game editions (Standard, Deluxe and Collector’s Edition) now receive one of a kind weapons for level 3, their schematics to craft them for higher levels and a unique costume that can not be obtained otherwise.
  • Steam’s Early Access Standard Edition of the game now receives 5000 credits and 5000 bits as rewards for Early Access participation (the Deluxe and Collector’s Editions were already receiving their bits and credits since last patch).
  • Some new world events have been added on 8Squared.
  • 8Squared is now populated by more enemies.
  • Several improvements have been made to the interaction with objects in the early quests where occasionally players where unable to interact with a world object to complete a quest (ID 0037350).
  • The prison door for the quest “Break out” has been improved and should no longer cause problems for some players to destroy it using a heavy attack (ID 0037346).
  • Comma (,) is now being correctly processed in the chat (ID 0036670).
  • HP potions now correctly maintain level requirements and can not be used by characters below the level requirement any more (ID 0037351).
  • Fixed an issue with the quest “Shops” in Lambda Mall that caused the Shop Promoter NPC to not react correctly in certain circumstances (ID 0037369)
  • Fixed an issue with the quest “Shipping” in Monastery that caused Orlando to not move (ID 0037366).
  • Fixed an issue in the Krittapong faction quest "Elemental code" so that it can now be completed without issues (ID 0037373).
  • Fixed an issue in the game entry that could allow players to pass to the next segment prematurely or being respawned ahead of the quest flow (ID 0037344).
  • Fixed multiple collision issues in the game entry (ID 0037348).
  • Fixed various collision issues in all simulations.
  • The HELP channel now works correctly (ID 0036663).
  • Fixed an issue in the tutorial where the hit point bar has been shown too late.
  • Fixed an issue with abandoning the quest "The Jaws of the Monster”.
  • Fixed an issue in the quest "Burn the bush" that prevented the bushes to be spawn in the correct area.
  • Several smaller tweaks have been implemented to the "8Squared Past" quest chain to be more fluid.
  • Fixed a major issue with NPC path movement in 8Squared and Monastery.
  • Fixed display names on portals in Orlando's Apartment.
  • The targeting of shader enemies has been tweaked and should now be easier.
  • Smaller tweaks to various enemy abilities and attacks has been made.
  • Various collect quests now have a chance to spawn enemies while progressing through the quest to make them more enjoyable.
  • Water Isle now has the correct portal models.
  • Lighting, sounds and maps added in bars across Lambda Mall.
  • NPCs used in follow/escort quests have been looked at and had their movement speed during the quest significantly increased.
  • Fixed an issue that sometimes caused the character to be partially placed in the terrain/floor when reviving.
  • The idle male character pose has been straightened and its animation improved.
  • Players will now revive with more hit points.
  • World quests spawning has been improved and they no longer all spawn at the same time.
  • The "Dragon entering" cinematic on 5Isle should now play correctly.
  • The death penalty in PvE has been reduced to 10% of the bits the character is carrying and 5% SOMA. Type of SOMA is randomly chosen on revival. You can reduce your losses by storing bits in the bank in Lambda Mall (U|Cache) as the loss is calculated based on the amount of bits your character carries rather than owns.
  • The death penalty in PvP has been reduced to 1% of the bits the character is carrying and 1% SOMA. Type of SOMA is randomly chosen on revival.
  • Death penalties will now be displayed in the chat so you can see what loses your character suffered when dying.
  • We got rid of the annoying Kismet warning being displayed when performing various activities in U|Space.
