Bug reporting and how we handle it

Dear players,

as there have already been a few bug reports from you, we would like to take the chance to explain how bugs will be dealt with.

As many of you realized, mostly the answer to bug reports is that it "was forwarded to the developers", which is accurate but not very transparent.

Otherland's developers, Drago, will be the ones fixing all the issues we find in the game. When you report a bug here, our team will check it, then put it in a Bug Reporting tool. It will then be assigned to the right developer, and solved as soon as possible, depending on priority. It can happen that Bugs are fixed in the next patch, but it usually takes longer to fix and test.

So that you get a good overview of the bugs, we will write the Bug Report Ticket number in the reply to your reports. You can then check this number to the patch notes, where the Bug Ticket numbers will also be added in the future, to see if your bug was fixed. You can use the number to ask us for more details and updates about a certain bug in the future as well.
